Who processes your data?

What data do we collect?
The details you enter in the quote request: name, job title, email address, telephone number, your organisation’s name and information about your site and required services. To deliver pages securely, the hosting infrastructure also processes technically necessary request data, such as the IP address, time and browser type. When the host supplies a client IP address to the form action, our application converts it to a secured one-way hash to limit automated abuse. Only that technical key remains in temporary server memory for no more than ten minutes; the raw address is not written to our application logs or counter.
Purposes and legal bases
We use the details in your request to contact you, arrange a site visit and prepare a proposal. The legal basis is the performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one. Technical request data and temporary abuse protection rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website and form secure and available. Data may also be retained where a legal obligation requires this or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
How long do we keep it?
The temporary abuse-protection key expires after no more than ten minutes. A submitted quote request reaches our business email environment and, where follow-up is needed, the corresponding commercial file. We keep that data for as long as needed to follow up the request and any resulting client relationship, and longer where a legal retention duty or potential legal claim requires this. The retention period for technical infrastructure logs depends on the final hosting configuration and will be agreed with the host before publication.
Recipients and transfers outside Europe
We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own commercial purposes. The categories of recipients are the hosting provider, our business email environment and the staff responsible for following up your request. When email delivery for the site is activated, Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) transmits the form content on our behalf. Resend’s primary processing operations take place in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and also refers to its EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification. Required fields and automated decisions
Required form fields are identified as such. Without those details we cannot assess or answer your request; the remaining fields are optional. The website makes no automated decisions about you and creates no profiles.
Cookies
This website sets no functional, analytics, advertising or tracking cookies and uses no external scripts that follow you. The language is part of the web address, so no preference cookie is needed. Fonts are served from our own server. Should that change, we will update this statement and ask for your consent in advance where the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Send your request to the email address above; to disclose data to the correct person, we may first verify your identity. We will normally respond within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
